A Floating Duet is a site-specific dance duet by Brittany and Natasha Kohler of Dance Plant Collective, accompanied by Jessica Robinson on cello. Situated on the lake at Whangārei Quarry Gardens, A Floating Duet responds to the beauty and resilience of the gardens and surrounding communities. The site serves as a unique example of creating something beautiful out of disaster, growing back after falling and thriving after loss.
We shift, adapt and respond to our changing environment. How can we be in relationship with nature, navigating the ripple effect and consequences of the moves we make?
