"Misanthropy" means the mistrust or hatred of humanity. If you've ever resented being a member of this scourge of a species, you've dabbled in misanthropy! Laura is an anthropologist (someone who studies humanity) and an activist (someone who believes humanity can do better), and therefore, she often feels misanthropic. Miss Anthropy is her second musical comedy show, a pageant of relatable hate to soothe the souls of folks who also hate being human sometimes.
